Fired up forge, started forging an integral, blade almost finished then the wind gusts climbed to 35mph+ apparently a tornado watch is for the next county.

Freaking gusts are blowing my forge out  I can't say that I've ever had a forced air forge blow out like that. Was really hard to keep mixture right towards the end. :grumpy:

Ah well... tomorrow is another day.

we had one whoop some tail along a busy road last week or so down not to far from me here in the Tampa Bay, FL area, there were a couple that day, nothing but property damage i believe

I lived on Oklahoma for a while, liked the area and the people, HATED the tornadoes.

Hope it misses you.

Hey like I said Welcome back you "Party Animal"! Now I bet your rethinking that whole comment aren't you!!!!!! I didn't know I could still whip up one of those!:D:D:D

I didn't think I was hammering that fast, I know the squirrels in the blower cage ain't that fast... probably blame Tennessee cause nothing sucks like Big Orange.

I know all too much about Oklahoma, bbq sucks except in the projects of Tulsa. I worked out of Poteau, OK and everyone no matter how poor has an in-ground shelter there.

I've lived in Houston, TX, for about 2yrs now, but before this I lived in St. Louis and Northern Missouri for 18yrs. Tornadoes suck but I do love the sound of the tornado sirens. At my old house up in Hannibal, Missouri, I could stand on my front porch and hear a couple of the sirens on either side of the city. Thing about the sirens is they're on top of telephone poles and the horns rotate, so when you're listening to two of them on opposite sides of a city the effect is very eerie. Due to the dopplar effect the sounds of each one rise and fall in volume and pitch, so the sound from either siren kind of play together and makes your neck hairs stand up.

(There are no tornado sirens in Houston. Hurricanes suck. Lived through Ike. I miss Missouri)

Got bad but no tornadoes hit us.... got to get down to the in laws to see if they lost any trees. They lost 3 pecan trees last month during a storm, really hope they didn't lose any this time because I'll be having to fire the chainsaw up again. Took me a week to get everything cleared up.
