I'd like to know more about the technique used for the inlays in the blade. Great looking knives.

Friend Tom

I am glad me to wonder; I have not carried out a description of the technique, who has interest that he/she asks.
It is a complex technique, I am used poison ash. he/she is lowered part of the bottom of the sheet (steel Leaf). On the other hand, mother-of-pearl is incrusted in the one it reduces of the steel. that mother-of-pearl is clipped, with a certain drawing (by hand) and it is sealed with poison ash the whole mother-of-pearl.
With very fine sandpapers (I seed 2000) the surface of the mother-of-pearl is equaled with the steel. He/she becomes polished with pasta and it is a work as that of the pictures.
The technique is necessary to see like he/she is carried out for the artisan, pués already tells him that it is complex of carrying out.

A greeting Tom and thank you to look and to say.

Amigo Tom

Friend Andrew, thank you to look at my works and to say when I show them in the forum.

A greeting

Montejano (Spain ) ;) ;)

Very exquisite work! Those appear to be some big sections of stag. I suspect if you didn't want to damage the beautiful bladework, you could simply club something into submission with the handle :) Just kidding of course.

The beauty of the knives you post never fails to take my breath away. Whenever I open one of your posts I always expect to see something spectacular, and you never fail to excede my expectations. Keep up the amazing work.

Thank you friends for their words. Sometimes, one feels discouraged because it shows their works with illusion of sharing them and that they know each other. Many look in the forums, but they don't enter what you/they think to say.

Thanks to all to enter in my works and to say. Shortly I will show a small knife that I carried out step to step.
