Howdy. Has anyone had the opportunity to work with Punong Guro Mike Blackgrave in San Antonio? I will visit him myself, I had seen some videos on youtube, but I was curious if there was any personal testimony out there.

Also. Does anyone have any insight into the stylistic differences of Pekiti Tirsia and Ilustrisimo kali?

Highly recommended training opportunity... He is a top notch instructor in the Bahad Zubu method under Yuli Romo.. I went to one of his seminars and enjoyed the way he broke things down to the basic level so there wasn't much time wasted and all training was hands on

You are the man! Just what I was looking for. Thanks, Al Gore, for the Internet. (joking)

Awesome. I live in San Antonio. Hell of a drive, though.

Thanks

Mike is top notch, he is also one of my most trusted friends and advisors.
I would highly recommend him, you will not come away disappointed.

Thanks a bunch. Funny what comes across in email-- he seems to be a really decent guy.

I look forward to stopping by class.

As to your question of PTK differences with Ka'li Ilustrisimo..those answers should be given and fealt in training..after all that is the laboratory, is it not? And from said laboratories the method to my madness grows or as Master Yuli says " his counter clock wise ways)..LOL.....hope to see you soon.

A +1 for Guro B. Were I closer, would definitely hook up and train with him. Have had some on and off-board contact. Oversimplifying- my experience has been that he's highly focused on combatively relevant (self-preserving, whatever one prefers...) material. PS- hello Guro B...

You bet, sir. I look forward to it. I had actually emailed you last week. I couldn't make tonight, and I still have PT class time until the end of this month, so it'll have to be next Monday. I look forward to it.

Thanks
