Today I decided to strip down and shine my Bk11 (probably my favorite knife I own!) and Bk2. Doing it by hand took a long time and still only got to 1000 grit but I think it looks pretty good so far. I am not sure if you can see here but the Bk11 has some jimping that I did using a really old thin hacksaw in the garage (no files
) Both now have micarta and form quite a solid woods knife team.
The next two are pictures of the sheath. I like to belt carry, but since the bk11 is so much smaller putting it horizontally makes for more comfortable quick drawing in the woods...If anyone wants to do this without buying anything extra (like the tdi clip) just simply cut 2 pieces of paracord to the appropriate length and tie knot each side like the picture shows, and then burning the ends to secure it. Very stable and is my new favorite way to carry the knife as I dont even notice it is there.
Lastly just because I can here is my edc for the day! A Nebo light, solarpowered Seiko watch, and a Schrade USA Old timer.
