I hear a lot of good things about Kershaw here and I'm kind of restricted in the knives I can carry(sub 3" bladed folders) or I would have a bunch of Kershaws by now. My question is... Other than the Leek what sub 3" blade folders does Kershaw make? Thanks in advance.

The kershaw scallion and the chive. I have a red and a green scallion. I like it alot. Just go to there website and look around.

The stand-bys are the Scallion and Chive. The ENER-G is 2 13/16, Lee Williams flipper, 14C28N steel. The OD-1, at 2 15/16, Lee Williams flipper, Hinderer lock stop, frame lock and 14C28N. R.J. Martin's Zing and orange G-10 Zing are 3", flippers and have his striated 14C28N blades. If you can fudge just a bit, one of the best offerings out there now is the RAM. Designed by Grant and Gavin Hawk, it has a really strong and unique Hawk lock. Its a flipper, and if you practice a bit you can open and close it just by manipulating the lock button, which is on the side of the knife. 3 1/8th inches of 14C28N steel. The Skyline is another great one at 3 1/8th inch. I'm sure I'm missing some more, like the Mini Mojito, and then there are all of the different Leek blade configurations.

14C28N is a proprietary steel Kershaw and Sandvik Steel came up with. It is exclusive to Kershaw. The properties are similar to Sandvik's 13C26, but it offers a little better edge retention and greater rust inhibition. A lot of my knives have the 13C and 14C, and perform very well. Don't expect it to hold an edge as long as SG2 or ZDP, but for a more generalized steel, it does a great job. Its easy to sharpen, and takes a very fine edge.
