Looking for a small fixed blade for edc, saw the izula and i like it, but wondering if there is anything else I should look at before I buy it. Should have around the same blade length and a good quality steel at around 40-60 dollars.

I have a Tan Izula that I absolutely love. That thing can do a lot for such a small knife. There's a video of a guy who cuts his way through a 4x4 in 5 minutes and can still shave arm hair after. Other than the Izula there are some nice custom ones out there. Also maybe check out the BlindHorseKnives tiger and small tiger knapp. Those both look pretty sweet.

Does it absolutely have to be under 3 inches? The BK11 is another good choice but its 3 1/4 inches long.

The Boker Sub Claw fixed blade, CRK&T Side Hawg 2, and Becker BK13 are all under 3 inches.

Check out Landiknives.com for the PSK at 2 and 1/8th inch blade. $60.00. He posts on Blade Forums.

The Izula is the shit for $55. Get one you will be happy you did!!!

Check out Michael Morris, well known on Blade Forums. He makes a small fixed blade calling it a "Pocket Filler", I think for around $65.00.

You might like the Buck Kaala...I love mine. I had Phillip Dobson put some burl scales with mosaic pins on mine.

The Becker Necker is only $30, but it's 3.25".

Myself, I got an Entrek Lynx, 3" blade, 440C. Maybe closer to $80 though.

If you want truly wee, the TOPS Prairie Fox is 2.5" blade:

I think that A G Russell's Woodswalker is in that price range. You might want to look at it as well. I also like the Izula, but I'd want the handle wrapped. I don't like skeletonized handles.

It's way smaller than 3", but I love my Bark River Mikro Canadian. It packs alot of cutting power in such a small knife. A great little fixed blade EDC. You can find them for around $60 on the aftermarket sometimes.

All the ones mentioned are good. It's really what's comfortable & fits your hands? I have a Benchmade 211 that fits me well (5.5" OAL with 2 1/8" D2 blade).
