I'm looking for a one handed folder that I can take the clip off of and carry in my watch pocket. The knife should be between 3 1/4" and 3 3/4" closed, have an opening hole, and cost around $80. The front runner right know is the Benchmade Mini Grip but I would like to hear some more suggestions.

Thanks,
Paul

The Benchmade Grips IMO are some of the best bang for your Buck, if you were wanting to go with another design I would advise taking a look at the benchmade 720 or 710.. The 710 is by far the perfect EDC folder but may be a little big for your requirements...

Thanks for the suggestions guys.

Absintheur, I think I would like a clip just in case.

Chris, I've considered the Kiwi and I love Spydercos but somehow the Kiwi doesn't do it for me.

If your budget was a bit higher the Spyderco Leafstorm would fit that bill as well.

Ka-Bar Dozier works well for me exactly as you describe, clip off, in watch pocket. It's quite a bit under your budget, so you'd just have to buy several knives.

btw, my watch pockets will easily carry knives up to about 5" closed. While I normally carry knives in Sodbuster Jr size range, the watch pocket easily accomodates the RAT-1 and full size sodbusters with just enough exposed for it not to be concealed.

Well Reek, that leafstorm is a nice folder but for $140.00 I'd be very tempted to pull the trigger on the M4 Bradley instead.
