Okay, so one more of those threads (apologies in advance). It's one of those knives that I don't need, won't use but want. I quite like Bowie Knives and there are plenty of those around, but it seems the Sub Hilt Fighter is a little less common, who would've thought .
Anyway, since I unfortunately don't have the funds (nor do I want to tie up as much money) for a Walter Brend Model 2 Sub Hilt, so I was wondering if anybody had any suggestions for something more production grade?
And since everybody likes a nice picture (not mine, just uploaded them), some quick general references:

As some parameters, I'm gonna say ~500$ as a upper limit with a little wiggle room, 7"+ blade length, obviously a sub hilt, usable knife overall (not really interested in pure decoration pieces) handle preferable wood, leather, micarta, maybe G10, although I prefer a more classical look, Satin Blade. I've seen the Boker Subhilt and the Cold Steel, but neither really speak to me, I'm sure there is more around, that I haven't really looked into too much.
Thanks in advance. :)

Ah yes, the elusive sub-hilt fighter! Exceptionally rare in the ~ $500 range!
Other than the ones you've already mentioned, the only other production sub-hilt that I have seen is the Gill Hibben sub-hilt toothpick.
Cheap, and not really my taste in a sub-hilt. I like the Boker one better.

I would save a little more and keep my eye on AZCK website for one you really like!

I might just have to do that. I saw the Gil Hibben one as well, there is two of them apparently and they kinda sorta leave me thinking that I probably just wait and see if something better comes along instead of settling.

I would also look into Ken Hall Knives. I am sure he might be able to come up with something, or steer you in the right direction.
