Amazing knife! The handle is a piece of art! I need one of those...

Best regards,
Alex

You Sir, are a prolific knife maker!

And your style is fantastic! A beautiful piece!

That is SICK!!!
strangely, not super keen on the forging marks. I'd prefer it had a nice hand rubbed finish.

I agree with Lorien.
Your handle and guard are so refined the forging marks just look out of place on this piece.
Anyway, that's just an opinion, your execution is top shelf as always.:thumbup:

I'm curious, if you don't mind my asking, approximately how many knives do you make in a year?

he's made at least a dozen bowie sized knives so far...

I've been lucky enough to capture 4 fine examples of Claudio's knifes this year. Each one I receive continues to amaze me with the absolute perfection in fit and finish, his handles are all a piece of art and all feel incredible in the hand. I would expect this one to do the same, another great job Claudio!!!

Claudio,

Another great piece - you really have evolved your own unique "style" - and I agree, the touch with the snakewood in the frog is just a little added jewel.

I can understand where the comments in regard to the forge finish come from....but at least to me, the laminated/forge finish combo is a "trademark" of sorts for Claudio,
so it works for me :D
