This is a sub hilt fighter finished just before the Gathering in Vegas. My wife had suggested I make another smaller one after getting to take new photos of one from a couple of years ago. Roger Pinnock thought it was a good idea, too. With that kind of encouragement, I went for it.

The blade is 1095 with hamon, 7" long. The fittings are titanium. The handle is stabilized feather crotch koa. And the cross draw sheath is from NB Designs, who is my wife, Nita Broadwell. I'm much more accustomed to making longer blades, but enjoyed this smaller blade. Think I'll do more.

Thanks for looking,

David

Very nice. I see influence of CAS and Wieland. I like it a lot.
