I finished this up last week before I headed for Mr. Claiborne's hammer-in. Blade is low layered reverse twist, with a 152 layer billet along the edge. The steel, in the guard, sub-hilt and pommel are all from twist damascus. The handle is fossilized rib bone.
OAL 13 1/4" W/ 8 1/8 blade. Top clip is 7". Steel used 1080 & 15n20

Thanks,

Bill

Wow, just wow, that's all I can say...except maybe are you going to post it again in the classified section?!

Bill, For some unknown reason I was able to view this beauty! Thats one nice piece of work, kind of makes me want to do a sub hilt again. Thats a top shelf knife.....

This is a real beauty, folks. I got to handle it down at Bowie's. Beautiful balance, eye-catching steel, and, like always, marvelous fit and finish.

He put on a display of knives down there had a lot of people whispering to each other.

Great work, Bill.

Wow --

I'm a sucker for a sub-hilt, and this one takes the cake!

Thanks everyone for the nice comments.

Bruz, this knife is available, but it's going to have a photo session first. My photography sucks (as a dear friend points out quite often) so I'll be sending this one to Terrill Hoffman if he's available.

Thanks,

Bill

Bill that's awesome! Your damascus just blows me away. Thanks for sharing - makes me want to try a subhilt too!

I heard about this knife from others at the hammer-in. Now that I see it, simply gorgeous. Beautiful steel and great FF.

Thanks Guys.

Ken, when you going to share a few pictures of that Bowie you've been working on, believe me, its going to raise more then a few eye brows.

Thanks again,

Bill
