Finally finished my first custom order in over 12 years!

Loosely based on a WW1/2 German trench knife pattern I've used in the past, this has been kind of modernised and altered a bit.

I wasn't too sure about the single guard to start with, but this has very much grown on me since I started it.

The blade is 5mm/3/16" stock 12C27 (HT handled by Mr Guy Stainthorp) and was hollow ground on a 3" contact wheel.

Handle is black linen Micarta with yellow G10 liners and 304 stainless fittings.

6 1/4" blade, 10 3/4" overall.

As always, thanks for taking the time to look.

Very nice! Howard Hitchmough would have called that a spear point sub-hilt.
I really like your sheath work as well......... 👌 😎

One of the most elegant trench knives I've ever seen. Lean and mean without a lot of fluff. Fully capable of "taking care of business" while possessing the qualities of a museum piece.
