Sub-micron grit jump?

Is moving from .1 micron to .025 micron an acceptable grit jump, or should I invest in .05 micron spray as well? I sharpen straight razors, so I feel a need to get the sharpest blades I can, for the most comfortable shave possible.

What is the rest of your progression like?

0.1u - 0.025u is a 4x jump , so its not unreasonable , but all your previous work is going to play a huge role at this level of finish.

I have all three , and I use all three with no jumps. If im going down that fine then I feel that its worth it.

I typically go 1000, 6000, 8000, black compound on balsa, white on balsa, .5 micron, .25 micron, .1 micron, bare leather.
