Subclaw edge quality expectations?

I just got a subclaw folder and subcom folder. Both were razor sharp....some of the sharpest kinves I have ever purchased. I also got an RNR that was pretty sharp. The Subclaw has a damaged edge near the tip....looks like it was wacked on a rock with noticeable deformity. Is this common with the Boker line? These are my first Bokers....and I am not pleased with the obvious deformation?

Thanks

I would say that a damaged edge that "looks like it was wacked on a rock" is not standard for Boker, or any other knife manufacturer of good repute.

Get in touch with their warranty department or with the retailer you bought it from.

Agreed. You got a dud. Every CLB knife I've ever had came very sharp and had no such deformities. Contact the warranty department and they'll fix it for you.

Sorry to hear about that.
Send it in to me, and we'll take care of it.
