Aloha ALL,

Sorry for not being here as much, but some "unforeseen" incidents occurred at the start of my new year...Ugh.

Anyway, for those who never saw this, check it out. Pretty interesting stuff, done by the legendary Mercop himself!

Yeah thanks for that cool link.
I have to get me some extra backup cardboardkillers No.1!!
extra butter extra butter extra butter. and some more on top!! ;)

Ohhh, nice stuff. I love this. Shows just how very special SF design is. Subclaw looks like one mean cutter but i didnt know it was that sharp. Very nice indeed.

Aloha ALL,

Hey thanks a lot guys. Yes, the SC is indeed a "special lil' big knife". I do believe it is the only Hawkbill in it's size class, and have always wondered why no one has ever made a small hawkbill...it is proving to be a great using/SD knife.

Enjoy your 'Claws everyone and mahalo to Mercop.;)

God bless and stay safe!

hey Chad, them factory edges on every SubcomF variant/Trance variant that I have bought have consistent factory grinds/edges that are all symmetically ground and very very scary sharp  ;)
Now i'm not a caliper/loupe/micrometer kinda guy so I have no clue what the measurements are of the edge thickness
Same goes for the framelocks on all these knives....consistent lockups....on ALL of them....i'm talking maybe 2-3 Trances, 2-3 Subclaws, 6-8 SubcomF's, 1 Wharcom....Boker has impressed me with "build" consistency for these knives.... fitting for your ingeniously ergonomic designs :cool:

I too was surprized with how sharp it was out of the box. My wife thought it was pretty funny when I got soaked with the water. When using the SC with the scalpal grip you can't barely see it in the hand. Awesome little cutter. Great job Chad and Boker. Look for my review on the Trance next week.
