Subcom/etc as Money Clip

I don't use a money clip very often but figure I should move beyond the typical zippo blade/file/scissor.

I've seen lots of pics of Subcoms/Rescoms/Wharcom/Subclaw but never in use as a money clip.

Can someone post a pick of one of these from both sides with a couple credit cards & bills under the clip?

The Subcom seems a bit large/heavy for a money clip (to me, at least), but I can snap a few quick pics if you want.

I only find myself using a money clip about 4-6 times a year so it looks like it'll definitely do the job for me - and then I've got a nice little big knife for the other ~360 days in the year ;)

You know, after taking those pics, I actually tried it as a moneyclip for the first time, and it worked better than I thought it would. It would be a bit bulky for slacks, but with jeans or other "work" pants, it seems just fine.

I have used my SubClaw as my money clip since I got it I found it woks great for that. I wear blue-jeans mostly & I carry it on the inside of the money with the clip on the outside. Like this.

Thanks for helping out poorbadger, and poorbadger thanks for your support! I know a buncha guys who use the SFV's as money clips. So enjoy yours and let us know which one ya get!;)

That's a great idea folding the bills over the knife. I'll have to try that out. The Hyper looks a little large in that role. Do the bills keep it from turning horizontal in the pocket? :eek:

hehheh yeah, you're right G. ScottH....truth it was an excuse to post of some more CLB-porn lol :p I've got way many biscuits (subcomF and variants) that I choose those for $ clips ..... other fave ones are Spyderco Crickets/Spin for $ clips :cool:
 
I've had a couple of money clips over the years. The only problem is that I travel a good deal and anything with a blade is a no no. I end up no using it and it sits on a shelf and gathers dust.
