I don't want to sound offensive here, more constructive.
But I have to say, that the Subcom FB I acquired few days ago was as horribly finished. I had readed that this knife had some finishing issues - and I thought maybe it was just bad luck - but I had the same thing with my knife. The grind was horribly uneven and it seemed as if it was partially convex and partially V at some parts. There was also some sort of smudge on the blade and some black dirth on the grind. Really unforgiveable even for such affordable blade.
But no worries that being said, because I convexed the knife and it's quite a slicer now. I think I might have done that anyway.
I've been eyeing on the grabendolch for a while, but this scared me a bit. I know that this is US made* and the graben is germany made but still, I think Im justified to be alerted?
* = Im not generalizing, please don't start. Im not biased on knives based on country.
