I couldn't even find the last thread screaming for the SFB. Now I'm wondering if they are available since I just saw one on ebay.

Odd...not that I know of Matt. But then again, I had NO clue about the Trance being as far as it was in terms of developement, so if so, I would not be surprised!:p

I emailed Germany about it and shared the link...

On our end here in the US, it is not available.
I have not received any updated information from Germany,
or my bosses for a while. I will try to do some digging.

That auction ships from a warehouse, with shipping in 5-10 days. I doubt they actually have them.

Good price though.
 
I just got a response back from the seller. Turns out it is a pre-order. They've edited their listing to reflect that.

Anyway, YES...these are apparently being shipped in Europe!:eek: I got an email from a buyer who said it was the best compact FB ever and he just got his TWO SFB's.

Cripes, I don't even have a production version yet!:confused: :eek: :(

I just hope Scott will not get upset about this and send Boker Germany that...that...*gulp*...

Anyway, FWIW...they are shipping and you guys in Europe are fortunate indeed...;)

Nope. I have a standing order for the FB in Germany (since February? March?, I've lost time), and the last promise was for mid-October which is about now. Well, the promise before was for end of April, then end of June, and after that I llost count.
AND I HAVE STANDING ORDERS IN GERMANY FOR ALL THE OTHER CHAD KNIVES, AND NO I HAVEN'T GOT ANY OF THEM SO FAR. So don't you feel neglected over there across the ocean.

And all the time there was this ad for all those knives, implying they were available while actually they weren't-
I HAVE STANDING ORDERS IN GERMANY FOR ALL OF CHAD'S KNIVES, AND THE ONLY ONES I ACTUALLY HAVE ARE THE FOLDERS RUN 1 AND 2, AND NO I HAVEN'T GOT ANY OF THE OTHERS SO FAR. So don't you feel neglected over there across the water. The only reason Böker can get away with this is that the design of the knives is so superior that people are suppressing their disdain because they want the product so badly that they are willing to shrug off the management inefficiency of the company. Chad's talent is acting as a goodwill smokescreen for Böker.

Well, I apologize for the late release of the SFB, however I have no control over such things.:(

There is a thread over at Messer about the RECEPTION of the SFB though...so i would perhaps call Boker Germany about your order?

i got a subcom fixed from www.wolfster.de. i think he will ship to usa;)

thank you chad for the design !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

but the sheath is not good :( :( ......it feels like a plastic-toy....not very solid......i hoped that boker would make a real kydex-sheath, but they make it from injection molded zytel. :(
a friend of mine will make one from kydex ;)
 
I've had mine (thanks Chad) for a while, so I can wait a little bit longer for the production version, but this news about the sheath really irritates me.
