Submit your photo for our new 2011 catalog

1) Photos can be of any ESEE Knife with the ESEE logo. If you use a Rat Cutlery knife with the RAT Cutlery triangular logo (before the name change), then the knife has to be shot so the logo is not visible.

2) All submitted photos must be YOUR property and not be copyrighted by another photographer.

3) Any photo we choose to use in the print catalog will require the photographer to sign a release. Releases will be emailed to the photographer if we choose their photo.

4) Submit low-res images only to the email address below (widest side 600 pixels), but you must maintain a high-res version in your files in case we choose your photo to be included in the print catalog. High-res images need to be a minimum of 1800 pixels (widest side). If you do not understand how to re-size and/or produce high-res photos on your camera then research it online. Do not email us for technical support.

5) Submit only one low-res image per email and include your name, address and phone number with each submission.

6) Caption your photo and explain what you are doing and how the knife performed (Testimonial). Captions can be simple text typed under your emailed low-res submission.

7) While we will consider static beauty shots, photos of our knives being used and carried get priority for inclusion in the catalog. We will also give special consideration to knives being used by military and law enforcement.

8) DO NOT email us asking if we like your photo. We will notify the photographer if we choose their photo.

9) Submit your low-res samples to: jeff@eseeknives.com. If we choose your photo for the catalog, ESEE Knives will send you a free ESEE knife (model to be decided on at a later date) and T-shirt.

10) We will be accepting photo submissions until October 1, 2010.

I can GUARANTEE I will be getting emails asking how to do this, emails with 20 gigabyte photos, emails asking what a knife is, emails asking how to put batteries in their camera, emails asking if they can submit their Schrade Old Timer pocket knife instead, emails asking what email address to send the photos to, emails asking the definition of "photo", emails asking when their photo will be run in the catalog, emails asking if they can send photos of their wife instead of a knife, and on and on and on.. :D

Surely you can't be serious...

I prefer old school I will be taking all my pics with a Kodak disposable, cutting them out and mailing them on a post card. Don't worry, I've got the address. :D

Just do stick figure drawings of the photos as your low res images.

Oh. and no need to develop them yourself, just send the whole camera in to Jeff, he has his own darkroom.

Just write the address on the camera in sharpie and slip a stamp on it, you can send them just like a postcard. The Post Office don't mind one bit.
