New BM Subrosa ,just got it . Nice sice ,blade is great .

Not so sure about the assist ? seems difficult to open at times.

Sometimes almost stuck ?. Once it fires it really has some pop !

Any suggestions on smoothing out assist
Thanks

Loosen the pivot a tiny bit at a time until you get it to the sweet spot, where it opens deploys perfectly, but has no bladeplay.

I have never adjusted any knives . just got a set of small torx heads
Time to use 'em

Also make sure you aren't putting pressure on the frame lock when you hold the knife to open it. This can make deployment significantly more difficult, since the frame lock presses against the blade more (and makes it harder for the blade to overcome the ball detent).

Also, make sure you push the stud forward when you deploy the blade. Not up and out.

Pushing straight toward the front of the knife is how my Nitrous Stryker deploys easiest and best.

That didn't work when I tried my Subrosa. I just don't carry it - I even tried removing the assist and then it didn't stay closed well enough.

The assisted mechanism really holds the blade shut.

Well, that blows then . . .
