I probably need to send it in but my Subrosa, assited open frame lock, has opened in my pocket a couple times, once I was reaching for my keys and cut the hell out myself. Anyone else have this issue? Any known fixes? It's a hair trigger I barely touch it and it opens, it locks up fine and everything else on it is flawless, being that it's tip down it has become a danger, I hate sending stuff in, but sometimes you gotta bite the bullet.

Hey Wolf!
I had the same issue with my 760......very weak detent! I sent it in and all BM really did was tighten up the pivot.
It was back in about a week lubed, and sharpened.
What I do when I carry my 760 is put nothing else in that pocket.

Sorry to read this entry. As the Axis A/O has the advantage of the lockout tab, the Nitrous A/O system does not. While my 790 hasn't done what yours has, the only thing I can offer is to grab a T-10 torx driver and tighten the pivot. Out of paranoia I've carried mine in a Velcro pouch, but I'm a right front pocket traditional carry guy; no position pouch-wise ever feels right. Before you send the knife in I'd suggest calling their CS dept. at 800-800-7427 to see if they have any suggestions. Find out anything please let us know!

Thanks guys, yeah i figured it was going to be something like that. I do love the knife it is one of my "slimmest" carries so it's great in tighter pockets and it is one of the sharpest knives I've ever carried. I picked it up second hand and it's a first production so it's done it's job for a long time. I've been carrying my Kulgera lately instead. Subrosa is still a great knife I might start only carrying it in a cargo pocket or not at all, I tried to tighten the pivot and it doesn't open right. I've got the little utility tool from Benchmade for tightening, the fold out one, not the bit one works amazing. Might just tell the wife I need a new slim Benchmade :) .

Only suggestion I could make thats different is to put it in your back right pocket. That way the spine of the blade rides against the edge of your pocket, keeping your hands out of harms way.
