Subscription expiration? (with upgrade)

I started out with a basic membership, then upgraded to a gold membership. My gold membership does not expire until May 2015, but I received an e-mail stating that my basic membership was about to expire... am I correct in assuming that I can ignore this? Thanks.

Yes, you can ignore it, you will still be Gold.
