How do I find what level my subscription is? The last I was aware of it was gold. If it’s expired, I don’t think I was contacted for renewal, which is usual as I was contacted every year. Have the rules changed? Please advise.

There's no banner showing under your name, so if you were Gold, it must have expired. I used to get notifications about upcoming expiration, but haven't in the last couple years, so I think something did change.
 
I thinks some of us are getting notifications, because I got one in October and annually before that, but there was one year my Gold membership expired without notification.
 
I don't believe I received a notification the past two years...but IF I did, it was upon expiration.
IIRC, it used to come prior to (not sure if it was a few days or a week)

Yeah when I used to get a notification, it was about a week before. But you have to wait for it to expire anyway, since you can't see/renew your current level prior to expiration, can only upgrade.

Yes; but that's relatively new, too. Used to be able to see from one's level and up
