subscription upgrade

Id like to upgrade my membership from gold to service provider, is there a way to pro rate the subscription and pay the difference? When I went from basic to gold I didn't think to ask but gold to service provider is a little bit more of a jump in price. Thanks in advance

The procedure is to buy the new membership and then post in this (Tech Support) forum asking Spark to prorate the Gold membership, adding the money equivalent time to the new Service Provider membership.
