Substitute blad for Lanyard Ring on Letherman Kick?

I have a Leatherman Kick (made in April 2005) that I always carry with a pocket clip. For me, that is the best carry method; the small lanyard ring blade on the Kick seems to be unnecessary and a waste of space. I have seen it suggested that the Kick would be improved by a file replacing the lanyard ring. I agree.

Does anyone here know of a replacement file blade that will fit the Leatherman Kick? If not a file, can a serrated blade be put here? A fine=tipped Phillips head or other screwdriver? A pointed awl? Other suggestions.

I know the Kick has been discontinued but I hope some replacement parts might fit.
