Subtle (evolved) Gunhammer changes

Just saw this from Darrel. I've been around Gunhammers long enough to pick up subtle changes like this right away. The angle of the clip is slightly different it looks like, so that when you draw it from a pocket, it will sit in your hand a bit better. It also looks longer from this angle. Just a few more evolutions in the design of the Gunhammer.

The bowie profile was changed a bit too. The swedge is raised a bit further on the clip. Gives it a nicer look from the old bowie, like mine. IMO, the blade profile looks more like a bowie now and less like a clip point. Note, the pivot pin is also different from the Celtic cross pivot pins.

Been really busy traveling the past few weeks, so I just now saw this thread. I'm a big fan of the new clip -- the old HTM Gunhammer clip, while by no means bad, was the one area of the knife that I thought could be improved somewhat (mostly by making it a bit longer and bigger). And it looks like that's exactly what Darrel has done with these changes. Yet another reason I love Darrel's work, both custom and HTM: as great as the products are already, he never rests on his laurels and is always looking to improve them.

Yep, yep. I've lost track of how many iterations of the Gunhammer have come out over the years, each one with improvements over the previous one.

I loved the Celtic Cross :(

This knife is so fine I can't think of one thing I'd want to change except an exposed framelock on the other side with matching or black, rounded countour like the Zero Tolerance has and sporting 4 inches of blade. Yummy!

Same here. But the new HTM Gunhammer pivot looks cool too, and of course the Celtic Cross will continue to be used on Darrel's customs. :D

I don't know for sure since I didn't ask him, but I think that's the reason.
