I can't wait for this knife to be released. It is totally up my alley.

Any word on an estimated release date?
 
Can I ask what it is about it that interests you? Serious question. :)

On one hand I look at it and I am amazed that much blade comes out of that handle. How does it fit? To me that is impressive. I like big knives, I like orange knives and I like negative blade angles. On the other hand I look at that blade shape and am just not sure what it is good at?

I like the size , the thick Ti liner lock and the unusual blade shape. I own zero orange knives but I've always wanted one. This shall be my first.
 
I think this model would be a good platform for modding
 
Handled one at Blade. I didnt want one at first glance, but after seeing it in person it's on my list for sure. A smooth, ergonomic monster

Word is alot of the spyderco knives will be out within 6 months. Some longer than others in that time line I would assume. They were letting people know more specifics at the gx show. But I didn't get the whole details from the friends that went.
