That's what happens these days with high speed internet connections. A smart ebayer will have second window/tab open with a second higher bid at the ready in case their last second bid isn't enough and they really want the knife.

I just happened to be watching that one in the last few minutes...thinking towards the last minute that maybe I should throw out a bid...then it started to happen.

Hope someone on here snagged it and can we find out more about it. Preston

yep some times i have 3 windows open..
the last is the i want it realllly bad ...
some times you can hit send with jest 3 sec and it makes in it at
less then a sec.. hard to beat...
but if server running late any at all...
well you miss your shot...:grumpy:

I just keep one to click on and one to watch the time. I don't ever allow myself to get lured into changing my bid.
