Well it came yesterday and I was kind of nervous. I bought it sight unseen after losing a DOTD. Auntie offered me another one she had so I told her I would take it. I asked if she had a longer one than the 11inch version I saw posted. Well... What I got was a 13in 16oz piece of polished perfection. It did have a little rust/discoloration on the tip but I used some jewelers rouge and all is well. The sheath needed a little epoxy repair, the little flaps of leather inside the opening of the sheath needed to be "glued" down.

hows this for a perfectly polished and constructed point?

I hope you enjoyed!

Did I not say, "everyone needs to get a Suga, if they don't have one or two already!".

I have two as a set, and they are both made by Padam, measure exactly 11/4" OAL, and are within .002 oz of each other.

Isn't it just awesome? Doing a backcut with a Suga is devasatating.

Got a set of Sugas and Trisuls, and I am in heaven with those 2 sets.

The field report from a friend of mine who carried his Suga on a hunt, he was extremely impressed. It field dressed his kill (wild boar 300 lbs plus), with hardly any effort, plans on making a kydex sheath for it, and taking it on all his hunting trips, lol.

Yes, that is a fine Suga... you just gotta love these little birds.. deadly!
I was fascinated with it before I pulled the trigger on mine,, it was said that everyone should have in past threads and I do feel like this blade is an integral part of HI history :)
Enjoy and congrats!

Dude! That is one sexy knife alright! I can see how that would make a good skinner! Glad you got her fixed up. Looks brand new!

yep I have bought two and would likely buy a third when I can. an excellent knife with a perfect design.

Hmmm never thought about a set of Sugas, now that is one deadly scary thought. I also think a kydex sheath is in order, I love the brown leather unit I received with it but the button type retention strap can be a bit of a nuisance in the field. A snap in and snap out sheath is the way to go for field work IMHO. I wouldn't want to get the original all mussed up anyway :D. Im gonna have pugs make me a leather unit for the KLVUK to give in a more "rustic" appearance but the Suga will look right at home in kydex. Oh...and thanks a lot man ;), now I cant get the thought of dual Sugas out of my head. I just have to wait for another 16oz monster.

Nice, that's almost a twin of mine (also 13" 16 ounce). But yours was also made by Padam kami like mine, not Kumar. I think only Padam is making the Suga knives. Yours is marked identically to mine, with Padam's vertical arrow mark and initials. Kumar uses a six-pointed star (mandala).

Oops...my mistake, Thanks for the correction, its always good to give credit where credit is due and Padam is due a pat on the back.

I thought that too but I couldn't see the marks clear enough. The wouldn't call it a Padam if Kumar made it. Not matter it's beautiful and I feel good that I was holding (fondling) mine last night. It's just made to hold.

I know... I wish I could change the title on my thread post cause I feel like a moron lol. A Padma made by Kumar, what the hell was I thinking

You can double click the title and change it i believe. I did it once but sometimes it just opens the thread. Might have to stand on you left foot and hold you big toe in your left ear and hold down the control alt key at the same time. Karda probably knows how.

Yup! control and a double click did it! Thanks ndoghouse. No more moronic berserka (for now)

Nice! They are awesome, aren't they?

My Padam Suga is almost a twin for yours - 13" but it is 17 1/4 oz.
