It's pretty hard to describe this knife without using words like awesome, but well yeah, it's pretty awesome :D

I asked Mike for slightly fatter than normal scales and to leave them somewhat rough finished

I have to say I will not keep a knife around long if the handle isn't comfortable. This knife will be sticking around for sure. Very comfortable in long use, all edges are rounded and it has nice overall contours.

Carved on a few different types of wood and it worked nicely

With the high flat grind (more like a high saber grind actually) and 1/8th" stock, micro fuzzies were not a problem.

I am really happy with the knife, and it's mind blowing that it was under $100 (though he has since raised the price by $10) this is easily in the category of knives costing double that or more. It also comes with a leather JRE sheath with firesteel loop, and the spine is square and sharp and trows a mean spark.

Thanks for the review. I saw one last weekend, they are a great deal with very good fit and finish.

I am really amazed at the value for what a well made knife it is. He could charge a lot more that's for sure!

Nice knife TK.
Mike is a great guy to deal with and he makes some sweet knives.
I got a lot of respect for makers like him who deliver a great product @ a down to earth price.

You aint to healthy for a wallet either big guy, I just ordered their Cumberland Puukko!

I've looked at his knives before. Surprised I haven't pulled the plug yet. They are awesome looking knives ;)

Thanks for the review. Definitely will need to get a knife from him in the future.

You may as well put your name on his list now. I'm on his list as of yesterday, and will expect my knife to be made sometime in January...
