Anyone heard of them?
Im looking for a new knife for bushcraft. and i really like the Pathfinder knife, but its a lot of money. The PLSK 2 knife is a reasonable price though. but i just found this, http://sugarcreekknifeworks.com/KnifeGallery.aspx , the Modern French Trade Knife is exactly like the PLSK2. Does anyone have experience with Sugar Creek?
Also, ive been thinking about convex knives... particularly BRKT Bravo 1, but i dont know if the spine will be too thick for my uses. I mainly just do some light wood splitting and feather sticks and some snares. also id like to be able to do some bowdrill or hand drill type of woodwork. I have koster bushcrafter Gen 3 in 3v, i hated the handle ergos until i sanded them down to fit my hand. (i shouldve worn a mask... :grumpy
now i like it, but the blade chips even if i just lightly use the knife for feathersticks... so its extremely annoying... I do like it a lot otherwise.
Thanks!
