I want to buy a double-edged knife like the Kershaw Amphibian dive knife with both a smooth edge and a serrated edge. Any comments about this Kershaw? (I have no experience with Kershaw) I want to pay less than $100. It will not be used for diving. Please suggest other knives for me to consider.

SOG Pentagon or Mini-Pentagon daggers are double edged knives with a plain cutting edge and a serrated cutting edge. The Mini-Pentagon is less than $100

SOG Pentagon or a Boker A/F Mini Smatchet or boot knife.

i have bother and they are very nice knives! :)

Boker makes a really nice Titanium double edge knife but it might be over $100. I love mine. Good luck.

I highly recomend checking out Entreks line i personally have an Entrek Merc and i love it micarta handles with a locking kydex sheath (with no annoying straps) bead blasted
440C Razor sharp they also make a double edged tanto knife i think its called the Eagle
shop around and you can find them for less than 200 dollars with shipping

*edit* didnt see the price range my bad, but do check out what i recommended anyhow!

Oh, The AG Russell "STING." That is a classic, now being produced by CRK&T. $30. And I think AG is going to introduce a Sting 3.

Yeah the Sting is a very good choice (although it isn't serrated on one side). Its a very tough knife from what I have heard. I almost got one a while ago

A curse on those of you who are tempting me with fine $100+ knives. May the Ghost Of Dull visit upon your knives a permanent burr.:D:D:D So far I haven't given in. I'm barely holding out for double-edged with some serration for less than $100. To those of you who understand "want" not "need", may the Ghost Of Keen visit upon your knives everlasting sharpness.

The SOG Mini Pentagon looks good. Perhaps I could file a few serrations in the Old Hickory or A.G. Russell Sting. Can't find the double-edged Boker on their website. Meanwhile, I am going to search under the seat cushions again for a few more nickels and dimes.:) Curses Curses Curses

Zeasor---That is a good idea with the file. Or, maybe STR would do the serrations. Good luck.

Take a look at the Glock field knife. It's around $30 and has saw teeth on one side.

I have a double sided Bear MGC USA Blackie Collins dagger that I really like. I never hear that knife mentioned on here...I don't know why...it seems to be a really slick knife, with a neat "release" button on the sheath. I have no idea what they cost, mine was a gift.

Let me see. I have 3 OSS (diffrent steels) ,a Sting,a Mini Pentagon,a Cold Steel Shanghai Shadow,a Glock, and an Old Hickory Pig Sticker. Go with the Mini Pentagon. It has the best sheath for EDC. And its a darn nice knife.

Bear & Son Cutlery's has some classic Blackie Collins designs like the
