Suggestion for a Forum?

Um, hello, er... knife gods... I really like this forum, and appreciate the oppotunity to participate.

I was wondering if there could be a forum for CRKT users/fans. I ask because there are forums dedicated to Spyderco, Emerson, and some other brands. It seems to me though that there would be a real interest in CRKT, if only because they reach such a broad market. Also, they are industry leaders and innovators who are respected and emulated. With such a broad range of products to offer, knife enthusiasts might like a dedicated place to exchnge views, reviews, etc.

These other forums that you mentioned are moderated by someone from the company itself. That would mean that CRKT would have to want to have a forum here before this is likely to happen. CRKT would have to have someone with the time to monitor the forum on a regular basis. Many companies just don't have someone with that can spare the time that would be required.
 
I didn;t know that... I wonder if thay'd let me do that for them.... for a modest price that is... or would that preclude me participating in other threads? Hummm
 
I'm not sure the idea is coming across ... each of the manufacturer's forums has at least one person from the company to answer questions, solve problems, take suggestions for kewl new knives they should make ... without that, there wouldn't be much point....
 
We have to have official company representation for a company forum. They can have whoever they want as additional moderators - but at least one has to be an official rep.
 
Yes gents, I did get it. Aside from loving this whole forum, I'd love to get paid to hang out here... I guess I was hoping someone from CRKT would hire me... LoL... That would make me official.

I won't beat a dead horse here... I'll send them a letter directly... tee hee. But just for the record..

Hey CRKT!!! Get yourselves a Forum here! Its a great way to reach your customers!
