Suggestion for BM

Does anyone else wish BM would make a sub 2.5" blade? Unfortunately I live in a city where there's not a whole lot to do, so I go to other cities most of the time I'm out. The catch, all of the surounding cities limit what I can carry to BELOW 2.5". Not even exactly 2.5, it has to be lower. I bought a Mini Grip without thinking about these and later found out my boring city is the only place I can have it. If they made a sub 2.5" blade for about the same price as the Mini Grip, I am sold...

Have you checked out our 3150 Impel? It is a 1.98" push button auto with a great kick!

Also the 482 Megumi sits at 2.48" blade length.

Unfortunately, autos are a no-no. I have never seen that Megumi, probably because I haven't ever gone past the first page when sorting price low to high! Little out of my price range, but I still love my "cheap" Benchmade Mini Grip! Maybe in a few years Megumi...

The Shoki is tiny. That is my smallest EDC (church/dress pants). Not sure what the length is off hand.

The Aphid (discontinued) is 2.38 inches. You may be able to find one on an auction site.

It is assisted though. Don't know if that's a no go.

I bought one 4 years ago and my sisiter liked it so much she stole it. I bought one yesterday to replace it. It's perfect, just like the first one. Very elegant design and functional for a 2" blade. S30V steel makes it extra sweet. Got it for a cash discount at a Brick and Mortar. Too bad they didn't keep it around and market it with some colorful G10 covers. The ladies like it.

Lerch's design is excellent and shows his jewelers background. A good example of how outsiders can improve a knife company, like BM's Pardue autos.
