Suggestion for when posting pictures

Seems like all topics revolve around pictures these days.
A picture alone without text will not show up on a search.
I think it would be nice if when posting a picture to include some brief text with it so that your "knife art" is searchable.
It is something I have always tried to do.
A lot of people use the search function for historical research and information. What is obvious today will not be tomorrow.
Just my thought for the day.

I had the same thought and will put a brief description and or text from now on when I post a photo.

That is a great idea, sure would help when searching for a certain knife in the future. I will also try to remember to do this when I post a picture.

I have thought this for a long time. Even with knives when I know the model number, it helps to know a bit more information, especially the date. Thanks for the suggestion, Roger.

That was the great part of the “club” threads. One stop got you all the pictures of that model.

Maybe we should have a photo thread for each model and allow thread resurrections.
