Suggestions and advice please.

I am about to order a Rick Hinderer Firetac Extreme. I emailed a Rick and he sent me the following:

....as for the colouring on the titanium I can offer the anodizing in all shades of blue, gold, yellow, bronze, and double anodizing in those colours as well....if you have any other questions please don’t hesitate to contact me...Thanks again!

1-Can you explain to me what is the difference between anodizing and double anodizing?
2- What colour Do you suggest for the titanium?
2- What inlays do you suggest on the titanium?
4. What other things should be discussed with your custom knife maker?

Rick is such a great guy.

As for what to do with your knife, I say just be original and go with what YOU want and/or like. I ordered mine and CANNOT wait. i guarantee you will not be let down.

I agree with the above post, definitely get the materials you like. BTW, good choice of knife, definitley the one I would have picked from your selections, I am jealous, enjoy it!

The one in the top pic looks nice. The second one down (gold) is definitely not my taste at all. The third one, a sort of two tone blue is also nice.

These sorts of things really are a personal taste issue and I don't think anyone can really help you much with such a choice. What might look really nice to me might look like a really tacky POS to you.
