Suggestions for a fixed blade EDC

Hey guys. I have have been looking around for a while now trying to find my perfect edc fixed blade. I was all set on the zero tolerance 0121, but then found out the handle is super small (not good since I have hands on the larger side), I thought about an Emerson PUK, but I worry about the thickness (yes I admit I pry with my knives, but I will hang my head in shame about it later). Here are some guidelines I would like to stay in

Stainless (preferably S30V, VG-10, or 154cm)

3" - 4" blade

Preferably around 3/16" thick

Longer guard for the fingers (ex. Emerson's guard)

At this point I would like to keep price under $200

Any help is greatly appreciated
Thanks everyone

I've got big hands too and really like my Becker Necker. If you're looking for a neck knifeish EDC, then you could do worse than that one. I tried the Izula too, didn't fit me as well, but that may just be me.

Seki Cut and Mcusta make some rather nice gentleman's fixed blades for around 150. They are VG-10, but they might not be great choice for a heavy duty role.

You take a look at Helle knives as well, Benchmade got a few, Spyderco Stree beat also a great choice. Beretta has a line of Loveless models. There are plenty of knives in your specs and price limit.
I'd, personally, would go with BM Nimravus Cub.
Here are the specs:

Blade Length: 3.50 in.
Overall Length: 7.87 in.
Blade Thickness: 0.115 in.
Blade Style: Modified Tanto
Blade Material: 154CM
Blade Hardness: 58-61HR
Weight: 3.20oz

I'm going to go completely different and say the Spyderco Caspian Salt with a blunt tip.

Great steel, big handle (with a finger hold that can be used as a guard), and the blunt tip is excellent for prying. The handle scales are removable so you can do custom handles or cord wrap it, plus the whole thing is pretty light.

Street Beat is also good, but the tip's not that great for prying.

I have a Bark River Micro Drop Point in my pocket (In a KSF Pocono pocket sheath) right now. It's on the small side for what you're looking for, and tool steel, but there are Barkies that would fit your wants. Great knives.

Slightly over your budget (but not by much) - did you consider the Nyala by Chris Reeve? It is for all intents and purposes a fixed blade Sebenza on steroids.

S35V blade steel, leather sheath, fits great in the pocket.

I've had mine for about a week now and haven't been able to put it down.

this it an awesome choice the becker necker is a great size, easy to conceal, and now that its made by kabar the sheath is badass. you can buy a TDI clip for it and it still stays under $40. $32 on amazon.com and you will have it in 3 days

the esee izula is another great choice it runs at about 35-50 dollars. no belt clip thought.

this up coming january esee and kabar/becker are joining up and crossing these designs.

200-40=160
thats 160 that you can put to another knife..or you could get both. :]

i have larger hand and i found that i have to change my normal grip to stabalize the blade in hand. i personaly dont like this knife. saddly its made of pretty good steel. the design sucks...(my opinion)

hope this helps.

O.A Length: 6.25"
Blade Length (end of handle to tip): 2.88"
Cutting Edge Length: 3 3/8"
O.A. Blade Length: 3 7/8"
Maximum Thickness: .156"
Weight: 2 Ounces (Knife Only)

it comes with a plastic sheath that can be used as a neck knife, worn on the belt, or just carried in the pocket.

I agree (with a poster above) that an F1 is a great choice... but if you are looking for something a little more exotic, how about a Chris Reeve Nyala?
Blade - 3.75" / OAL - 8.5" / Steel - S35VN... and quite a looker... :D

<BF Nyala thread link> - Includes some nice photos ;)

In no particular order, they will all do the job.

My favorite knife in that size range- while not stainless- is my Swamp Rat Howling Rat- generation 2 with a big old choil!
