just came by a knife that had the slabs removed which is all well and good since i hate mags (although these hand shaped ones weren't bad) and don't have the tools to put them back on.
anyway, i've got a lot of paracord which i've tried, but it makes the grip too tall, and still isn't that comfortable (my problem is the top and bottom don't seem to be quite wide enough and hurt when chopping). i've sanded the swells down a lot which helps with the height (it's fine with a single wrapping), but it doesn't solve the comfort problem. i've tried wrapping it twice around, which makes the handle more comfortable, but wayyy to big.
anyone have any ideas how to solve this problem? i'm thinking that a flat material might be the way, so if nobody can help i'll probably get some japanese handle wrap.
