Right now i carry a kershaw, but havent been completely happy with it. I use it every day and havent been that rough to it but the blade hasnt help up like i expected. Tips of serations have broken off and the edge has chipped. Time to upgrade.
I'm looking for a high quality edc thats gonna last me. I want a tactical style auto or assisted. And I think I want something a little more unique and tougher than gerber, kershaw, spyderco and benchmade. Same with a decent sized fixed blade tactical style knife. I plan on taking these with me on deployments and theyve gotta last, hold an edge, and look good.
Been doing alot of research and just can't nail down anything.
Any help would be appreciated!

You'll get better recommendations if you specify:
1. price ranges
2. blade sizes
3. stainless or not
4. intended uses

Price range- Up to I'd say like up to $250, would make exceptions of course. Got nuthin better to spend my pay on.

Blade Size- Well I'm not too picky on that, Just want practical useable blades. Not too small, nor too big.

Intended uses- Im a Marine so it wold be used however i needed to use it at the time. Everyday wear and tear.

"a little more unique and tougher than..."
The Kershaw Zero Tolerance stuff is pretty tough. The 0300's are freakin' tanks!
I've heard good stuff about Emerson blades.
