Suggestions for my first slipjoint.

I'm interested in getting a slipjoint knife. Don't know where to start. I want something not too big and is slim. One blade. And something with a brown/red handle. Price range under 50 bucks. Thanks for any suggestions.

Schrade 194ot. 3 7/8" closed with a 3 1/8" blade. About 1/2" thick at the widest point.With a brass liner lock,1095 carbon steel blade.

A USA one like the one in my photo can be found on ebay for less than $50.

Or the "new" Taylor LLC imported Chinese "Schrades" (Stainless Steel) can be found almost anywhere.

I would highly recommend a Case barehead slimline trapper

If you like red I would suggest a Case CV slimline Trapper. The CV blades are well known for taking a great cutting edge.
