suggestions for new 501 blade installer

I am a great Buck diehard, but they broke my heart today. I have a 501 stag that has an abused blade (shorten, over sharpened etc). Buck (Joe) told me that they no longer offer a blade replacement service, I was going to pay for the blade and labor. Any who, I have had Leroy replaces handles for me. Is he the man to go to for blades also? Any one else? I was hoping to get 50th anniversary blade or a S30V blade put on. Any suggestions?
 
Thats funny, still has on the website that blade replacement is 10 bucks, I was just getting ready to send a 110 with an abused blade in for replacement.

I just checked the website and it is like you said. I am now totally confused.
 
If you send in your knife for SPA work or to be serviced and the blade is bad they will replace it if needed. But, they will not do any blade upgrades. So the answer is no Buck will not put a S30V blade in it. If Buck sees the blade as damaged beyond repair it would be replaced with a 420hc blade.

Thank you for the info. I will let buck put the 420hc on.
