Suggestions Needed

I'm at an absolute stand still with this piece. I can't decide on the guard configuration OR the handle. I have a plate guard, ferrule, and stag taper set aside or a single guard and a nice piece of amboyna.

This knife has been in limbo for the past few days because I can't reach a final decision. This piece will be headed to the Blade show and if I had time I would make anoter blade and have a matching set, but I don't think that's going to happen .

So, any opinions, either way would be great .

Stag. Most definiitely stag. Yup. Stag. Single or double guard will work. But stag. That piece matches up very well with the blade, IMHO.

That sounds like a plan.
Now flute the guard, widen the ferrule, dont forget the Butt cap, and put my name on the knife.

I thing the stag and plate guard will look fine with the addition of a spacer and buttcap.
