Suggestions of bowie makers

Hello all, I am new to this forum. I would welcome suggestions of makers who do quality fighting bowies. I am thinking of bowies of blade length 7 to 9". Price is not that great a concern compared to quality. I would like the bowie to have a sharpened false edge as well - do they still produce such knives?

Matt Lamey has amazing bowies (see pic above)

Mr. Hossom has elegant but effective fighting bowies made of the latest materials with a radical hollow grind (radical means very high)

Allen Blade makes a Combat Patrol Bowie that, for a kick butt price, is an amazing deal.

Mike Cooper (L6STEEL on the forums) just finished one amazing damascus D-guard bowie and makes all other kinds of bowies. Check his stuff out.

All of the makers listed make very different kinds of bowies. Check them all out so that you can make an informed decision. man,, bowies are awesome

Look around some of the sites, such as KnifeArt. There is a huge variety of quality bowies available .I also make bowies.

Matt Lamey, Kevin Cashen, John Fitch, Jerry Fisk, Roger Massey, Harvey Dean, the list goes on and on. The first 3 being the most readily available and most affordable. These are just a few great makers.

Like I said, the list can go on forever. I agree with Gus; I want at least one from all makers listed. I just havent gotten there yet.

Who is Handcock? I've heard of some guy out in Arizona named Hancock who's won some awards(hehehe!) - sorry couldn't resist!
