So I have a Ti Military on the way that Im getting on a trade. I already own a ParaMilitary and I actually prefer it more than the fullsize. I don't really like Ti scales either. I am going to put it up for trade and would like something different. I was thinking maybe a Fallkniven PXL, Spyderco Chokwe, Bushcraft folder, or Enzo folder. Please offer up some suggestions for something "different". Anything with 4" blade or less would work.

No, customs are okay although I don't really want to spend more than $250.00 minus the trade on the Military.

yeah, thats the Bushcraft folder. Beautiful knife although I think he uses a DDR kit for the internals. that Payara looks interesting, I have a Shrike that I really like. Weight is not an issue, but your right on the Chokwe, I would prefer no TI.

Hmm, different? How about a Spyderco Yojimbo? 5" closed & 3" S30V Wharncliffe blade with compression lock.

Not necessarily high quality, although it's improved, CRKT's Ripple designed by Ken Onion & with IKBS pivot.

A Sebenza with their unique bushing/pivot is also a though.

A gentlemen laguiole variant by fontenille-pataud. Very chic and very different. Also cool: a chambriard le compagnon.

The A.G. Russell folding Spear Point pictured above is an excellent knife in most every department however he stated that he wants to get away from a Ti framelock. (By the way that picture is from Absintheur here on BF.)

Check out the Benchmade Mini Rukus 615 and the Al Mar SERE 2000. Both of which are very nice knives that can take a lot and fell very good in the hand.
