I want to make a kydex sheath for a knife I am making. Any suggestions, as I have only done leather in the past.

Molle attachment(for my tactical vest)

would like to mount sheath inverted or horizontal,so need a good sug. on how to secure knife, yet not impede access if the SHTF,as this knife in one of its roles, is Plan F, after we have gone through A B C D and E

and this setup will also be the protype for the 5 that I am going to make for my team.

So any suggestions, thoughts, and helpfull tips are encouraged.

You really don't need to buy a DVD, everything I learned I picked up from Youtube and searching on Google but it took lots of practice and some trial and error to make sheaths that I was happy with. If you just search "kydex sheath" on Youtube there are several good videos that should help you learn how to do it.

Horizontal on MOLLE is going to take up a LOT of space on your vest. Can you post pics of the knife you're looking to do this for?

Who is the maker that has the instructional video on Kydex. I have heard nothing but good things about it - it is the Alpha to Zeta of Kydex when making your first (and many more) Kydex sheaths.

I know the ones for leather - but if someone could post the maker with the kydex video - that would help the OP.

Thanks for the mention! :) Tried to make the DVD set so it would pay for itself. Plus if bought direct from me, you can always contact me with questions, or catch me at one of the Gun & Knife shows I do and I'll be glad to do some hands-on constructive criticism of your work.
