Suggestions on new knife..

Hello, I am a lover of tactical fixed and folders, and boot daggars. I am looking to purchase a new knife in the coming week, I am in the market for a fixed blade tactical tanto! I know there are amazing ones out there for 150 and up, but frankly I am just not into buying a pricey knife right now when I am going to buy a new handgun next month. My price range is 50-80 dollars, and I have narrowed it down to 4 knives. I would like to ask y'alls opinions to help with my final choice. I'm looking at the CRKT Ultima Tanto, the Buck Intreprid L Tanto, the Benchmade HK Conspiracy Tanto, and a discontinued CRKT knife that I have found places to purchase it new still..the M60 SOFTB Tanto. I think the top 3 I need help with are the Buck Intrepid L, the Benchmade HK, and the CRKT M60 SOFTB. If anyone has any other options for a Tactical Tanto in the 50 to 80 dollar price range please throw em in!

Well, I have both the Ultima (the bigger 2007 model) and the M60 SOTFB. The M60 has excellent grip and ergonomics, but I vastly prefer the blade and sheath of the Ultima. Mostly a matter of personal preference.

You might also want to consider the Gerber Prodigy tanto for a more overall practical design, or if you just want a big ol' slab of steel, maybe the Boker Plus Armed Forces fixed blade tanto.
 
thank you for the info, I have been looking at the Gerber Prodigy as well, it is a full tang right? I'm not really looking for a big Ol slabber o steel really, just want a nice solid no frills blade that has nice edge and feels great in hand. The m60 SOFTB seemed like it would have all that? Any more info and opinions on the Prodigy would be appreciated, it's def an option.
 
Yes at this point I think I'm actually having to pull the trigger on a decision between the Gerber Prodigy and the CRKT M60 SOFTB...any help on this would be much appreesh'd!
 
coldsteels gi tanto!

Just like their website says.. why waste your money buying similar knives from a convicted felon conartist when you can get more value from cold steel!

I dont like cold steel personally, but I love their description for the gi tanto.
