I currently have a Medford Micro Praetorian, a Strider PT CC, a Kingdom Armory Mini Samaritan, a 3" Hinderer XM-18 Wharncliffe, a Kizer 3404, and a CRK Small Sebenza.

I'm looking for more knives like these: small, high quality frame locks that are fairly robust for their size.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Nice collection! One of my favorite small knives is the Microtech Mini Matrix. It's technically a sub-frame lock, but it's a great little piece. How do you like the Hinderer 3" wharnie?

The spyderco chubby looks awesome. Take a look at the dpx heat, a few choices in tiers on their site.

Brancron! Nice to meet another knife collector that is a fan of 3" bladed folders. Looks like you are on collecting similar knives: CRK Small Sebenza tanto CF, Strider PT CC, TFS Beast spearpoint, LionSteel SR2, Hinderer XM-18 3" Slicer, Microtech Mini UDT, ZT770CF, CRK Ti-Lock are at the top of my 3" knife collection

If you have the means, I highly recommend getting a Ti-Lock!

The TSF Beast with the spearpoint is like CRK Smail Sebenza that A-Rod juiced up! Current knife I use when hiking in the Colorado forest.

The LionSteel SR2 probably is going to fill in the gap between the Micro Praetorian and the Hinderer; beefy blade and ready to do hard work - and my favorite handle ergonomics. I have this in both Ti and Aluminum (the green ago on the Al frame is really nice looking and super light for the amount of blade it yields. The Ti is a little heavier and has better texture.

I'm not going to add any other suggestions, but would agree the Techno and SR2 are great knives.
Sweet collection as well!

I am thrilled with my new Fantoni HB 02. It's not a frame lock, but the liner is thick titanium and feels every bit as solid as any frame lock I have.

I'm interested in this topic as well. While I love collecting larger knives (3.5" +), I find carrying smaller (~3" blades) more comfortable and allows me to enjoy the knife on a more regular basis. My current EDC is a Burger EXK1-CF. It has a 3" blade, is 3.5" overall, and right at 3/8" thick. No clip is required as it is perfect to drop into the pocket of a pair of slacks or khaki's.

Keep the ideas coming on more knives like this please.

Thanks for all the responses so far, there have been some very good suggestions.

Also look at A. G. Russell's Ti framelocks on his web site. They're in the small Sebenza size range and very well done.

I just ordered a brous bionic 2 and a brous silent soldier flipper framelock version. Both 3 inch and under. Heard great things about both. You should check them out.

Since you already have one Medford and know the quality you should check out the 187 RMP. I just picked one up and I like the size compared to my micro praetorian. But I have also started checking out the Grayman DUA.
