Suggestions, Please On A Gift

Wife has asked me today to get her brother a new knife for his birthday (This weekend). She specifically mentioned some type of Kershaw AO flipper, as she's watched me gleefully play with mine (I think she has her eyes on my Scallion, but her getting that one will be over my cut-off fingers!).

She wants to stay in the $ 50 or so range, so any suggestions, serrated and plain, as to what I should order? When I try to make a decision, I find myself looking at a knife as MY purchase, not to give to someone else!

Help in a hurry is greatly appreciated!

The standard Leek is always a classic, also the Mini Cyclone would be a solid choice. Both should have street prices in the range you are looking for.
 
You should look at the Leek and the Blur. Both are at Wal Mart and around $50 or less, and you can have them in-hand by this weekend. If you can find a knife shop locally, the groove is another great choice in your price range.
 
Some, and I stress SOME, Dicks Sporting Goods had the mini Cyclones and Leeks in stock, but they can't match Walmarts prices on the Leek.
 
Thanks for all the replies. I showed her the Leek, Groove, Blur and the Mini Cyclone. She chose the all black Mini Cyclone, because she likes the looks and feel of my Mini ZDP. And for being such a good guy and helping her out, she let me get one for myself, too (on her credit card, no less)! Now I have both of the Mini's! But I think there's more to it than that. As I have stated in an earlier post, she has hinted that she wants my Scallion. No way no how...she can get her own. Damn, I hope I haven't created another wallet buster with her wanting knives now too.

I chose the Knife Center Store because that's where I ordered my Mini ZDP. Great Customer Service and fast shipping, and if everything works out right, I should have it tomorrow! They use UPS Ground, but are near to me, being in Maryland. Got my Mini ZDP in 1 business day, but it was a Friday to a Monday.

Can't wait to get my new Mini!
 
I got my Mini ZDP from Knife Center yesterday. My order took a while to be delivered because I had another item that they had to order and I wanted to save $$ on delivery fees, so I can't help you on delivery time. That said, it's a very nice knife. Since it's a limited run I plan on just putting this one up and maybe getting another one at the show. I also want one of the Leek ZDP's but I think my EDC will and up being my Mini Mojo, which, BTW, would've made a great gift.
 
Just to update this post, I ordered the Mini Cyclone in all black Wednesday afternoon. It was on my doorstep yesterday around 3 PM. Less than 24 hours via UPS Ground. The Knife Center in Laurel MD. Second and third knife I've gotten from them. Good prices and fast shipping.

Played with my B-I-L's a bit last night: gave it a few strokes with the Sharpmaker, and turned the clip to tip up carry (he's right handed, so I hope he plans on carrying it in his right pocket!)

BTW, for the $$, the Mini Cyclone is one hell of a good buy...If I didn't already have one plus the Mini in the TiZDP, why I'd go buy one! Hell, I might buy another one just for shits and giggles! But wait...the NRG is coming out soon...might want to wait a bit...I'm confused....My God, I've got Kershawitis. Hey Thomas W., You guys make a pill or something for this?
