my buddys lookin for a knife for his brother for xmas, needs to be a folder, blade under 3.5, light to medium daily use, price around $80 i know what your thinking, there are a TON of knives that fit that bill, however it HAS to be made in the USA. he wont carry it if its not, he already owns a Spydie Native...any thoughts guys?
 
Mini griptilian maybe?

or full griptilian, if you look hard enough you can find one for < 80
 
I'll cast a vote for the Mini Griptillain with M390 blade.

You'll have to google it, deal spotting and all, but it's in your range.
 
my first thought was the manix 2 as well....i THINK im getting one of the orange sprint runs for christmas myself...hoping wifey picked up on all the subtle hints i dropped....like emailing her the website and telling her this is what i wanted lol

I know there are arguments against them, but for a knife that isn't going to see real heavy use, I think the leek is tough to beat.
