I would like to know what kind of "Chop, Slash, Stab" knife you would have with you when society falls apart... :D

I suppose right off the top of my head I'd like to have a Busse, preferably one of thier fiendish Bolo's. I expect there are many more that I am only vaguely aware of. Preferably no stag handles, as I don't much care for stag handles.

Cold Steel, for better or for worse, makes a really cool looking Kukri (spelling optional). This seem's it would be an excellent choice as it could double as a skinning knife and a axe.

Anyways, I'd love to tap the wealth of knowledge this forum keeps hidden on the subject ;)
 
check out the Himalayan Imports forum in the manufacturers/mfgs section of this forum and a company called Valiant imports at www.valiantco.com. outstanding large blades. May as well get an original
 
If we look at places where society has, actually, fallen apart - like Rwanda - it seems that a machete is the blade of choice.....
 
haahah... coincidentally, i just received my Cold Steel Panga Machete... damn it's fine! :D

but that won't be my blade of choice... i would prolly go with the LTC Kukri instead... better handle and grip

I'd pick a bushman and a trailmaster from Coldsteel
The bushman has so many options to it.
